UPACARA PAWIWAHAN

Majeng ring Pangenter Acara, titiang ngaturang suksmaning manah antuk galah sane kapica ring titiang.

Majeng ring Dane Manggala Karya sane dahat utamayang titiang;

Ida-Dane para Atiti sinamian sane dahat wangiang titiang;

Para semeton titiang sareng sami sane wangiang titiang;

Pamekas ring sang ngamargiang upacara pawiwahan : Putu Raka Kusuma miwah

Made Ayu Ari Astiti, sane tresna-sihin titiang.

Sadurung titang nglanturang matur ngeninin Sambrahma Wacana, titiang ngaturang pangayubagia majeng ring Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. Sangkaning wara nugrahan Ida titiang ngiring Ida-Dane sareng sami sida umangguh karahayuan. Titiang taler nunas lugra majeng ring Ida-Dane para Atiti, santukan titiang kapaku sara antuk sang kalih utawi sang ngamargiang upacara pawiwahan mangda ngaturang piteket utawi Sambrahma Wacana.

DIALOGUE ABOUT ASKING FOR SUGGESTION AND OPINION

SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY PLANS

On one hot afternoon, Ogek and Ayu are sitting in the sekaa pat SMA N 2 Amlapura and from the distance they see Nana who is walking toward them.

Ogek : “Ayu see, Nana is walking toward us.”

Ayu : “Yeah, I saw her.”

Ogek : “Let me call her.”

Ogek : “Good afternoon Nana, where will you go?”

Nana : “Good afternoon girls, I wanted to sit here in sekaa pat then I meet with you two.”

Ogek :”Oh come on then. Let’s sit with us.”

Ayu : “And then, do you have any free times?”

Nana : “Of course I have. I don’t want to go home now. I still want to feel the atmosphere of this school. ”

Ayu : “I’m glad to hear that, so you can talk with us now, right?”

Nana : “Yeah, I’m glad to have friends to talk. So, what do you want to talk about? It seems so serious.”

Ayu : “We want to talk about our school 32th anniversary.”

Nana : “We still have 2 months to preparing it. So, should we think about it?”

Ogek : “But, remember that it is a big event, so we have to preparing it as soon as we possible.”

Nana : “Hmm you’re right. It more better to think about it from now. And then, what are things that you’ve planned? ”

Ayu : “For me, I want to make a new innovation to celebrate our school 32th anniversary. ”

Ogek : “That’s right. I want the celebration will be very fun and everyone in this school can enjoy the celebration. Do you have any ideas?”

Nana : “Wait, let me think about it. AHA! I have an idea, if we want a new innovation, how if we increase our services to all members in this school when the celebration ongoing? So, they will enjoy and feel happy because of that. How about it? ”

Ogek : “What’s service that you mean?”

Nana : “I mean, we have to give priority to all members of this school’s happiness. It is about, How to make the students happy? So we can hold an event that can entertain and give a good impression to them. What do you think about it? ”

Ayu : “Good idea. How if we hold a culinary bazaar? What do you think?”

Ogek : “Good idea, our school never held that event before.”

Nana : “That’s right, and we will get some profits from that event. So we can use that profit to others positive activities. ”

Ayu : “It is sounds great. Beside of that, we can hold an education bazaar. Our school has so may extracurricular, How if every extracurricular shows their result of activities that they’ve done?. ”

Ogek : “Good idea. It will help to promote our school’s extracurricular.”

Nana : “And then, how about the entertainment? We should to hold it.”

Ayu : “We should to hold it. I really want to invite Emoni Bali for the guess star. What do you think?”

Nana : “It will be so great. Emoni Bali is very popular right now.”

Ogek :”That’s cool. But we should show our school musicians, singers, dancers etc.”

Nana : “It a must. Always remember that our school has so many talented students.”

Ogek : “Yap. Do we need lease an auditorium to celebrate this event?”

Nana : “No, we don’t need it. And don’t ever think about it. Our school has a large area for this event. Our school has an auditorium with a nice view right. We don’t have to lease others place anyway.”

Ayu : “This going to be cool. We should propose our ideas on OSIS meeting soon.”

Ogek : “Yes, of course. We should do that.”

Nana : “Ogek, what time is it? I didn’t wear my watch and my phone is off.”

Ogek : “It is 3 o’clock.”

Nana : “3 o’clock? Are you sure? ”

Ogek : “I don’t lie, here see it.”

Nana : “Oh my god.”

Ogek : “What’s wrong?”

Nana : “I have a course later. I have to go home now. We’ve talked for too long, I think. Glad to talk with you girls.”

Ogek : “And so do I, Na”

Ayu : “Thank you for sharing with us, Na”

Nana : “You are welcome. See you tomorrow girls. Bye”

Ogek & Ayu : “See you tomorrow Na, Take care and bye. “

In the past few years, social media has absolutely blown up. Creating countless opportunities for people to communicate, without actually meeting fac-to-face. Though it certainty has benefits,social media rapidly taken over many people social life, impacting their self esteems, social skill and emotional health. Social media user usually checks their account five times or more per day.

This addiction to social media and technology is definitely concerning for society as a whole. How will we able to effectively communicate in a person with another while we are glued to our smartphone or PC in a whole time? If you consider yourself a self proclaimed social media addict, or simply want to spend less time using your social media, so here are a simple tips to break our addiction;

1. Admit you have a problem.

Though this might sound a little but admitting that you have a problem will help you forgive yourself for it and realize that you need a change.

2. List out the reason why you go on social media excessively in the first place.

Are you bored? Do you not like the people you are surrounded by? Aim to full fill these underlying needs in the others way , such as; if you’re bored, take your dog for a walk, call your friend or pick up your book from the library and start to read it. Your news feeds in social media will still be there when you’re back.

3. Balance your social media life with offline interactions

Getting off your smartphone or PC and hanging out with your family or friends. It will be an instant mood booster.

4. Put on a limit in the amount of time spent using social media.

if you need to study for a big test tomorrow and keep getting distracted by your social media, you can ever use a program such as this one to limit how much time you spend on the social media. After your preset time limit filled, you’re done for the day!

Our Beautiful Journey

Making a million friends is not a miracle. The miracle is to make a friend who will stand by you when millions are against you. I have four best friends, they are Santhi, Budiayu, Rista and Jiwadiani. We have been friends since Junior High School. Usually, every holiday we always take time to the interesting place.

On the last holiday, we planned to go to Ubud on Saturday, 3th January. When the day come, we were so excited. We went at 10.00 a.m. by car. On the road we listened our favourite song and sang along together throughout the song. We also talked about a funny things and laughed so loudly.

After we had rode our car for 2 hours, we finally arrived at our first destination, The Antonio Blanco Renaissance Museum. Antonio Blanco Renaissance Museum is a painting art gallery owned by Don Antonio. Here, we’ll find only Blanco and his son’s works, there are no others artists collections. To get into the museum, we bought a ticket at the price of Rp. 30.000,- per person that include the free welcome drink. Then, we entered the museum.

Nearby the entrance there were some beautiful birds that we can hold and take the picture with. I, Budiayu and Rista took a picture together with some birds. While Santhi and Jiwa were afraid to hold the bird, so they just helped to take the picture by camera. There was also a beautiful garden with three wood benches, and a pond water with the water fountain in the middle of it. Beside the bench, there was a big blank frame that we can take the picture in. After we had took many pictures, we entered the gallery. At the entrance of the gallery we stopped by the security. He said that we banned to take the picture in the gallery. So we turned of the camera along we went around the gallery. The interior design of the gallery was really luxury. We felt like we were in the castil of a kingdom.

The gallery has 3 floor. The first and second floor contained with paintings. The wall was full of a wonderful paintings with a beautiful frames. Every frame have a different shapes, colour and engraving. We walked around and saw that wonderful paintings. The theme of the paintings were mostly about a Balinese girl. There were a dancing Balinese girl, an pregnant mother, a little Balinese girl and many more a painting about Balinese girl. There were some luxulary sofas at every corner of the gallery. When we sat there, we felt like a Queen. There were also some poems that made by Don Antonio Blanco which really poetic and hard to understand because all of the poems were using English. But we still try to understand that even thought it hard. After we walked around at the first and second floor, we went to the third floor.

The third floor was different with the floors before, because the third floor was an open space. We can see directly the scenery around the mesuem. The winds blew strongly at that time. So, we felt a bit annoyed because it messed up our hairs. But, we still enjoyed it. After we had satisfied took many pictures there, we went down and leave the gallery.

Our next destination was the Rondji Caffe and Restaurant which is nearby the gallery to took the welcome drinks. We got a glass of ice tea. An usual ice tea. But, because the place was good, so we felt like it a special tea. We drank while Jiwadiani and Rista made a joke by told a funny things that made us laugh. Jiwadiani and Rista are the funniest people among us. Nana and Budi were busy took a selfie. And Santhi was busy with my handphone, I took a picture of the scenery around the caffe. Then, we asked the waiter to take our picture. After we had finished, we left the caffe and went to the car.

This museum increased our knowledge about art, painting, and Balinese girl. At that moment, we realized how beautiful Balinese girl is. And we were so proud to be a Balinese girl. One word that explained our feeling, that was Amazing!

Our next destination was “Jembatan Cinta”. In English, Jembatan mean bridge, and cinta mean love. So, in English it called “Love Bridge”. As the name, the bridge was a place where a love couple usually meet. It made the bridge full of love. Actually, the bridge was ordinary. But, what made it interesting was its name. The bridge is made by wood and there was two wood benches at the left and right side of the bridge.

When we arrived there, only a few people there. Two boys sat on the wood bench and a couple of foreign tourists sat at the other wood bench. There was also a pitchwoman who selling a souvenirs.

As usual we took many pictures of us. Mainly, Budiayu. She took many pictures at every side of the bridge. We also took a selfie together. We were there not too long, it was about 30 minutes. Because we all were already hungry. So, we decided to go to a food stall to have a lunch.

The food stall named “Nasi Ayam Kedewatan Ibu Mangku”. After 15 minutes on the road, we arrived there. The food stall crowded enough. We sat at one of the empty place and ordered the foods. There was only one menu of food, that is “Nasi Campur”. Nasi Campur was a cooked rice with fried chicken, tempeh, satay, and some vegetables called urab. So, we ordered 5 Nasi Campurs While the drink’s menu were various. Nana, Jiwadiani and Santhi ordered an orange juice, Rista ordered an ice tea, while Budiayu ordered a melon juice.

15 minutes later, our foods came. Before we ate the foods, we had prayed first to thank to God who have given us a fortune. Then, we started to have our lunch. I really like the taste of it. Especially for the fried chicken. It spicy and crispy. The orange juice tasted good. Over all, it was delicious. After we had finished our lunch, we paid our foods.

The clock showed 05.00 p.m. It was time to go home. We entered the car and went home. It was rainy along the road. But, my friends sang loudly. I wondered, didn’t they feel tire after all? I guessed the answer was no. Because they sang along the road till we arrived home.

Well, that was a piece of our beautiful journey that will always be a beautiful memories of our life.
